General Terms

The provider commits to delivering all services with industry-standard diligence and in compliance with applicable legal and professional standards. For consumers in Austria, the relevant provisions of the Consumer Protection Act apply.

With the booking of a service, the customer accepts the provider’s general terms and conditions. These terms are displayed in the business premises and available on the website.

Unless otherwise agreed, these terms are considered an essential part of the contract between the provider and the customer.

Data Protection (GDPR)

The personal data collected during booking and treatment is processed exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data will be handled confidentially and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or explicitly consented to by the customer. For further information, please refer to our privacy policy at https://thaibalancemassage.at/de/datenschutz/

Booking and Appointments

A booking is made via phone, in writing, or online.

  • Prices: The prices displayed on the website and in the business premises apply.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. For cancellations made later or for no-shows, the provider reserves the right to charge the full treatment price as a cancellation fee unless a verifiable important reason is provided (e.g., a doctor’s certificate in case of illness). Any cancellation fee must be paid within 7 days. In case of a dispute, the provider reserves the right to provide appropriate proof of the cancellation fee’s validity.
  • Repeated No-Shows: Customers who repeatedly fail to attend a scheduled appointment or do not cancel in a timely manner may be temporarily or permanently excluded from future bookings. The provider reserves the right to deny further services to customers who repeatedly miss appointments without a valid excuse.
  • Delays: If the customer arrives late, the treatment time will be shortened accordingly.

The provider will make every effort to adhere to scheduled appointments. If unforeseen circumstances prevent the provider from keeping an appointment, the customer will be informed, and an alternative appointment will be scheduled.

The customer is obligated to cancel an appointment if they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment.

For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or for no-shows without cancellation, the provider reserves the right to charge the full treatment price.

Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure, such as natural disasters, epidemics, or legal restrictions affecting business operations, the provider reserves the right to postpone or cancel appointments. In such cases, no claims for damages or other compensation can be made.

Prices and Payment

Prices are as displayed in the business premises and on the website. All prices include VAT.

Payment is due immediately after treatment. The total amount must be paid upon receipt of the invoice. No alternative payment arrangements are possible. If immediate payment is not possible due to technical reasons, an alternative payment deadline of up to 7 days may be arranged.

Customers can pay in cash, with Maestro cards, or with all major credit cards.

Vouchers and Loyalty Cards

Vouchers can be purchased for specific treatments or as value-based vouchers.

  • Vouchers issued for a specific treatment duration can only be used for that duration. For example, a 60-minute voucher cannot be split into two 30-minute treatments. No refund is given for shorter treatment durations. If a longer treatment is desired, the additional cost must be paid.
  • Vouchers are only valid in their original form (no copies or reproductions accepted).

Complaints

Complaints regarding the provided treatment should be reported immediately after the session or before leaving the business premises to allow for prompt resolution.

If issues arise after the treatment, customers should inform the provider in writing or by phone within 3 days to allow timely evaluation. Complaints beyond this period may still be considered in exceptional cases, particularly if they involve gross negligence or intent by the provider.

House Rules

  • Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited in the entire business premises.
  • Treatments are only performed on customers who are sober.
  • Pets are not allowed in the premises.
  • Loud conversations and phone calls should be avoided.

Liability and Legal Notices

The massages offered are solely for relaxation and well-being and do not replace medical or therapeutic treatment.
